The coat hanger copies its shapes from birds resting on wires. Every day in New York, the designer goes under cables filled with hundreds of birds. Birds On Wire is an attempt to capture this image in a product. A photo of this view was transformed into laser-cut metal with hooks for jackets. Birds On Wire is part Victorian silhouette, part Flintstonian flashback that creates a functional complement to any home.
