History of the producer
Pujje Company is born from three young people's love for their country. They are an agronomist and agricultural entrepreneur specialized in the olive oil production as well as food. A manager successfully in charge of his family industrial business and, last but not least, a communication expert with an innate penchant toward marketing.
A great mix of expertise, management skills and creative energy brought to life an olive oil of excellent quality, a rare gift to bring on your table, surprising for the eyes as for the palate.
This project great appeal and originality is due to an exceptional care to every small detail. Its uniqueness is a result of the finest quality marrying a bold design.
Product grade definition: Cold pressed extravirgin olive oil, 100% Italian.
Cultivar: Ogliarola salentina from millennial olive trees.
Production area: Tavoliere salentino.
Extraction methods: Three-phase continuous cycle plant by water saving system and a operating temperature at about 20 °C (±2°C).
Color: deep golden yellow.
Smell: nose is enveloped by the fruity scent reminding to olives harvested while totally green . Pleasant green and mature vegetable notes follow, such as unripe fruit (banana, grass, fresh almond and ripe tomato).
Taste: mild attack, in the mouth it’s very fluid and flowing. Intense and persistent peppery notes of green and black pepper and bitter ones of radish and green pepper follow. Savory final hints of fresh pine nut.
